How a move works in Madrid
What locals take for granted and nobody tells you when you arrive from abroad.
Old buildings, small lifts. In many Madrid buildings, especially in the centre, the lift is small or there isn't one. A sofa or a wardrobe usually goes down the stairs, so always tell us the floor and whether there's a lift.
No lift means a charge per floor.€50 per floor for the 1st and 2nd, and €35 from the 3rd, at each home. Floors are counted from the ground floor (bajo), which is at street level.
VAT is already included. In Spain the standard VAT (IVA) rate is 21% and many quotes add it on separately. Our prices already include it: what you see is what you pay.
No quote requests, no waiting for a visit.Nobody needs to come and see your home: you tick what you're taking and the fixed price appears straight away, in about 2 minutes.
A deposit to book.€50 by card, through Stripe's secure checkout. The rest on moving day, by card or with your phone. If you cancel 48 h or more in advance, we refund the €50.
Sundays too.We do moves every day, Sundays and bank holidays included. We start at the time you choose, from 8:00 to 22:00, at the same price.
Living in the centre? There's a low-emission zone (ZBE) and streets with restricted access. We explain it in our guide moving in central Madrid and the ZBE (in Spanish).
Arriving or leaving: what we do in each case
The dates hardly ever line up first time. That's why you can move and store at the same time.
You arrive and your home isn't ready
We store some or all of it in our warehouse and bring it over when you have a home. Storage is paid separately, every 4 weeks.

Wherever you're from, the rate is the same. The size is set by what you're taking, not by the square metres of the home.

Questions from people coming from abroad
What if I'd rather speak Chinese?
For Chinese customers we have the help of translators, to make the experience as easy as possible. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll arrange it.
Do I need a Spanish phone number to book?
No. To book we ask for your name, a phone number with WhatsApp (it can be from another country) and an email. The €50 deposit is paid by card.
How do I count the floor of my home?
In Spain, the ground floor (bajo) is at street level and the 1st floor (1.º) is the first one above it. If your building has a mezzanine (entresuelo) or a principal floor before the 1st, add it to the booking notes.
Can I book before I arrive in Madrid?
Yes. You book on the website and the deposit is paid by card, so you can sort it out from wherever you are. On moving day, though, someone needs to be at each home.
What does “fixed price” mean?
That the price you get when you work it out is the price you pay, with VAT included. There are no overtime charges and no surcharges for Sundays or bank holidays. Something is only added if on the day there are more things than you ticked, and we tell you before we load.
One less thing to worry about
Work out your fixed price in 2 minutes or message us in English or Spanish.
