Yes, there's an alternative to a storage unit: have your boxes collected at your door and stored for you. You pay per box, not per square metre per month: €45 to €33 each, a single payment for the whole summer, with pick-up, storage, delivery and insurance. For a few boxes over three or four months, you save the van, the two trips to the warehouse and the monthly fee.

How much does a storage unit cost compared with storing by the box?
A storage unit is charged per square metre per month; we charge per box for the whole summer. With 7 boxes it's €273 (7 × €39) with pick-up, storage, delivery and insurance. A 1 m² storage unit for three months comes to €87-120, but it doesn't include transport in June and September, and in high season it tends to go up.

How does storing boxes with home pick-up work?
You work out your boxes, book with €20 and choose the pick-up day and the delivery date. We come to your door, keep the boxes in a warehouse watched by cameras 24 hours a day, and when you're back we bring them to the address you say. The rate is the same at a partner residence as door to door.
- Work out your boxes. The calculator estimates them from your items; you only pay for the ones you actually bring.
- Book with €20. It's deducted from the total and you can cancel free up to 14 days before.
- We collect on the day you choose between 17 May and 30 July. The rest is paid that day, by card or phone; if your parents are paying, we send them a link.
- We deliver between 15 August and 30 September wherever you say. If your plans change, message us and we'll move the date.
What can you store?
Boxes, suitcases and small furniture. Boxes are charged by tier and everything else has a fixed price: chair €22, sofa €75, chest of drawers €89, mirror €17, mini fridge €49, small suitcase €39 and large suitcase €55. If what you want to store isn't on the list, message us on WhatsApp with what it is and we'll tell you the price.
When is a storage unit still better?
If you have a car or a relative with a van, you're staying in Madrid and you need to get into your things often, a 1 m² storage unit can work out cheaper and is more flexible. What does the insurance cover?
It's included in the price. As a legal reference, Law 15/2009 on the contract for road carriage of goods sets a minimum compensation of a third of the daily IPREM per damaged kilo: about €6.67/kg with the 2026 IPREM, which is about €133 for a 20 kg box. It's a floor, not the value of your things: don't put high-value items in the boxes.

Do you collect from a residence or a shared flat?
Yes, we come to your door, whether it's a residence or a flat. We arrange it with you beforehand and, if needed, with the residence: a flatmate or the porter can hand it over.
How much does it cost if I store only a few boxes?
From 1 to 4 boxes it's €45 each: a single box, €45, and four, €180. From 5 boxes it drops to €39. With few things and free transport, a storage unit can work out cheaper.
Do you deliver anywhere in Madrid?
We deliver to the address you give us in Madrid. If access is difficult, there's an extra: €20 on a 2nd or 3rd floor without a lift and €35 on a 4th or above.
